Meet Our Providers

Kadi Addy
APRN

Kadi earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University before continuing on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. During her time there, she earned the Outstanding Student Award in Advanced Practice Nursing: Women’s Health. As an RN, she worked with Genesis Healthcare Systems on Labor and Delivery. Kadi has been with MVHC since 2015.

Kayla Eveland
APRN

Kayla obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Ohio University. Kayla always knew that she wanted to be a nurse, but it was an instructor at Ohio University who encouraged her to continue her education and become a nurse practitioner. She comes to the MVHC team with previous experience in addiction services and emergency medicine. Kayla worked as a nurse practitioner in the emergency department and enjoyed treating cardiac patients. In 2019, she began working in the Medication-Assisted Treatment setting. She enjoys helping patients who are struggling with substance abuse, creating a relationship with them, and helping them improve their quality of life. Kayla joined the MVHC team in 2022!

 

A fun fact about Kayla is she loves to travel with family or friends. As a child, she was fortunate to experience many family vacations and hopes to give the same experience to her children, making wonderful memories.

Amelia Lepi
APRN

Amelia obtained her Associate's Degree in nursing from Central Ohio Technical College and also has a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University in Organizational Communication. She specialized in Emergency nursing before attending Walden University to obtain her Master's Degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in Family Practice.

Kaleb Wilkins
APRN

Kaleb obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and then went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing, from Ohio University. Kaleb most recently worked for Genesis Healthcare System on their Critical Care Unit and Rapid Response team. 

Dr. Jennifer Baker
MD

Dr. Baker obtained her medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School and completed an emergency medicine residency at Advocate Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Illinois. She chose to go into medicine because she has always been fascinated with science, and practicing medicine allows her to use science to help people improve their quality of life. 

Patricia Johnson
LSW, LICDC

Patricia brings 40 years of drug and alcohol experience to our team. She enjoys caring for individuals with chemical dependency, as she enjoys seeing them recover, and helping to educate them and their loved ones through this disease.

 

A fun fact about Patricia is that she loves to travel to England to visit her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She has been a part of the MVHC Team since August of 2021. 

Amanda Sevcik
LISW-S

Amanda attended Ohio University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and later went on to receive her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. Amanda previously worked with Children’s Services and Six County, before coming on board with MVHC in 2014. 

MVHC Addiction Services provides substance abuse treatment to individuals, including pregnant women, battling opiate, alcohol, and other substance abuse.  

 

We use the latest evidence-based practices to treat different types of addiction including: 

  • Outpatient counseling 

    • Drug/alcohol assessments 

    • Psychiatry 

    • Individual counseling 

  • Outpatient withdrawal symptom management 

    • Medications to control anxiety, restless extremities, and GI symptoms 

  • Linkage to a higher level of care 

    • Residential treatment programs 

    • Acute medical management programs
