Many chronic diseases can have a long-term effect on patient's feet and ankles that require the services of a specialist. That’s why MVHC has an on-staff podiatrist who treats a variety of persistent or sudden onset problems involving the foot, leg, and ankle that may be unresponsive to treatment from a primary care provider.

Our podiatry service specializes in the following issues: 

  • Bunions 

  • Calluses 

  • Corns 

  • Diabetic foot exams 

  • Hammertoes 

  • Heel pain 

  • Ingrown toenails 

  • Plantar warts 

In addition to these services, our podiatrist works with each patient’s primary care team to provide education and treatment for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, that require specialized foot care to prevent possible complications.

Meet Our Providers

Dr. David Skrobot
DPM

MVHC Malta | MVHC Zanesville

Dr. Skrobot graduated from Otterbein College with a Bachelor of Arts before continuing on to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. He then completed his residency at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. Dr. Skrobot has worked with Genesis Healthcare System since 1990 and has been with MVHC since 2008.
