MVHC offers comprehensive specialty care for patients with chronic conditions. Our goal is to help you reduce or eliminate symptoms and provide support as you lead a healthy lifestyle to stop your condition from progressing.

Comprehensive Disease Management, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Neurology (migraine + headache subspecialty), and Specialty Pharmacy services are available.

Conditions we treat include:

  • Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing Spondylitis is a type of autoimmune-related arthritis that causes inflammation in the spine. It can also affect other joints including the knees, ankles, and hips.

  • Migraine
Migraine is a neurological condition that’s symptoms can include recurring headaches, throbbing or pulsing pain, nausea, weakness and sensitivity to light or sound. Roughly 1 in 6 Americans has migraine and it’s one of the leading causes of both short- and long-term disability.

  • Psoriasis
Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition that causes patches of inflamed skin known as plaques to form on the body, particularly on the elbows, knees, scalp, or lower back. These plaques can be scaly, itchy, or sore and in some cases may crack or bleed. Psoriasis is caused by an overactive immune system which multiplies skin cells too quickly.

  • Psoriatic Arthritis
Around 3 in 10 people with psoriasis also have psoriatic arthritis, which is a condition that can cause pain, swelling, and stiffness in and around your joints. When people have psoriatic arthritis, their immune system mistakenly attacks their joints and their skin.

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition that results in your immune system attacking healthy tissue in your joints causing pain and swelling. It can also impact your heart, lungs, nerves, eyes, and skin.

Appointments are available through insurance. MVHC also offers a sliding fee scale discount to all patients who meet income qualifications.
